'The initial exploration with my art was landscape drawing and painting. My interest to include the figure starting me in lifedrawing. The figure was then either combined within the landscape paintings/drawings or became part of an abstracted composition of its own.
Over the years my work has progressed from painting pleinair- to painting from memory - to painting from pleinair studies then - to using the pleinair studies as a jumping off point to explore what emerges.
